Bardos and Kharma - from "Thou Art" to "Hey!"

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice. John 5:28

Thought you would be interested in a video I ran across. I think it shows how bizarre and misleading certain cults can be, though gaining in popularity. The subject is The Tibetan Book of the Dead. Timothy Leary of LSD fame thought a lot of it. So did Carl Jung, the analyst.

A few years back I read an interesting book by Leary. There must be a lot of biographical truth in Tim's book, because he says he never could "make it with the chicks". Now, what man would lie about a thing like that?

Of course,Jung has some ideas that are useful, to my way of thinking. Like "archetypes". Maybe they could explain some of my dreams? Just kidding. Even Carl couldn't figure them out.

If you watch the video, you will hear repeated references to "the mystery of death", such as Shakespear's calling it the land from which no one returns. This simply is not true. A number of people have returned from the dead. Our Lord did, Lazarus did, and a number of people came out of their graves after the death of Jesus (Matthew 27:52). Yet, the Tibetans are credited with deep knowledge of what happens to a person after death.

After hearing this very "profound" knowledge extolled (in King James English), we find that the "mystery" has been solved. I am so thankful that we have the answer in the Bible. We sleep in Jesus, waiting for His return to wake us up.
